Introduction

This page is aimed at those thinking about or who have started treating Lyme disease with Atlantis Clinic.

Guidance – Lyme disease is a serious disease and if left untreated it can lead to paralysis, depression and cancer.

Lyme disease (Borreliosis) and its co-infections have been known about since the 1970s and have always been hard to clear. While antibiotics can help in the first year, they generally only provide marginal symptom relief and are not a “fix-all” solution.

About us – We are the only clinic in Malta with any real experience of this disease. We constantly look for new treatments and therapies that can help.

Testing – Our 7-way Lyme Screening test is over 99.9% accurate as validated by ArminLabs during Q1-2024. Our testing has so far had a 100% correlation with the Arminlabs blood tests.

LymeClear – We helped to develop LymeClear Therapy in association with Paul Wellness in Thailand, who was the man who developed this alternative therapy in 2020.

What Is Brain Fog?

First, what causes brain fog?  Well in a somewhat technical definition, brain fog is when the brain and nerves become overloaded with toxins, man-made or natural.  This excess of toxins impedes the nervous system’s ability to function in the manner it was designed to.

​There is no question that brain fog is not only one of the most common symptoms of Lyme Disease but also one of the most crippling and debilitating.  Brain fog encompasses memory loss, short and long term, an inability to critically think and articulate words, and a complete loss of emotions or a “numb” feeling.

Pinella

​The people of Peru use Pinella for its quintessential ability to cleanse the brain and nervous system of toxins.  An overload of toxins in the brain and nervous system can not only cause brain fog, but also peripheral neuropathy and seizure disorder.  Pinella is claimed to relieve the symptoms of these disorders simply by cleansing the brain of the toxins that fuel them.  It also can remove mercury and aluminium from the body.

Does It Work? Yes, to an extent.  Pinella has the ability to reduce brain fog.  In fact, it can reduce it quite drastically.  How do I know?  Well I used it after an onset of brain fog due to an increase of Samento the day before.  I placed 10 drops of Pinella and 8 drops of Burbur Detox into 4 ounces of water.  Let it sit for a minute and within 3 hours, there was an overall dramatic reduction in the brain fog.  The reduction was so profound that I actually became consciously aware of the improvement and progress as it occurred.Dr Cowden actually recommends taking Pinella and Burbur together as they’d be more effective than if you’d take them each separately.
