Our Mission
Many people who are chronically ill suffer financial hardship, often their illness prevents them from working, and without private health insurance or savings, only the lucky few are able to pay for alternative therapies.
Atlantis Clinic is in the process of launching a charitable non-profit foundation based in Malta to help those with chronic medical conditions including MS, ALS, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Diabetes & Cancer.
Atlantis Clinic Foundation will help people with chronic illness in Malta, UK & Europe obtain alternative therapies from approved clinics and retreats.
The Atlantis Clinic Foundation Team
A fundraising team will be formed comprising part-time staff, volunteers and Atlantis Clinic Management.
We will fundraise from three discreet sectors including Corporate, Personal & High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs). We will work with existing foundations and hospices in Malta to help those in need.
How will your donations be used?
Donations and gifts received will be used in the following areas. Donors can specify the percentage allocation of their gift to each category:

Ananda PEMF System
Ananda is a leader in PEMF technologies and the Foundation will purchase several of these systems for clients to use as a home-based therapy.
Oncotherm PEMF adjunctive oncology
The Oncotherm system will allow us to offer complimentary cancer treatment as adjunctive therapy to patients undergoing conventional oncology therapies. Oncotherm is a world leader in the application of heat and Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequencies (PEMF) to successfully kill cancer cells and is widely used throughout Europe.
Oncothermia’s effect is synergistic with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Furthermore, it leads to increased immunogenicity and effective reduction in pain.
Research
Atlantis Foundation will fund research into chronic illnesses in order to establish the best alternative therapies for specific conditions. We will be working with researchers, academics, clinics and scientists to publish evidence-based white papers.
Under Formation
We are in the process of registering the foundation with the Office of Voluntary Organisations and the Maltese Business Registry (MBR).
Non-profit System
To provide effective management of the foundation and donations, we will be using the Salesforce Non-profit system to manage fundraising campaigns and to provide a full audit trail of every donation. It will also track recipients of clinical care and allow tracking of all expenditures and assets.
Financial Controls
Our treasurer has over 40 years of experience working in the Banking & Non-Profit sector for clients in the US, UK, Australia, Luxembourg, Ireland, Malta, Turkey and New Zealand. The foundation will implement bank-grade accounting systems, KYC and anti-money laundering (AML) controls to ensure funds received can be traced to their origin, minimising financial risk and providing financial transparency and audibility.
Volunteers
We are currently looking for volunteers to help the foundation with Strategy, Planning, Fundraising, Legal, Accounting, Auditing, Secretarial, Marketing, PR, Lead generation, and help to find beneficiaries in need of complementary healthcare.
